MPW College в Лондоне был основан в 1973 году и является одним из самых известных частных колледжей. Колледж расположен в престижном районе South Kensington принимает около 480 студентов каждый год.

Цель колледжа - максимально эффективно подготовить студента к экзаменам. Метод обучения основан на интенсивном обучении и маленьких группах. В течение обучения осуществляется контроль академического прогресса студента Персональным наставником колледжа. Наставник помогает с выбором университета, специальности и помогает в процессе подачи документов в университет. Персональный наставник обязательно доводит до сведения родителей достижения студента по каждому из предметов путем предоставления письменных отчетов и регулярных встреч.

МPW колледж, имея большой опыт в подготовке студентов, издает свой путеводитель по поступлению в топовые университеты Великобритании на такие специальности, как Медицина, Стоматология, Ветеринария, Инжиниринг, Бизнес и Менеджмент, Психология, Юриспруденция и Искусство. Семинары и пробные интервью помогают студентам лучше подготовиться к процессу зачисления в университет.

Уделяя большое внимание академической подготовке, МPW колледж старается сбалансировать жизнь студентов организовывая их досуг. Спортивные и культурные мероприятия способствуют развитию новых интересов у студентов. Это может быть спорт, современные танцы, клуб молодых лидеров, производство собственного журнала, благотворительная деятельность и многое другое.

Проживание: для иностранных студентов предоставляется комфортабельная резиденция

Питание – завтраки. Контроль за студентами осуществляется сотрудником колледжа.

Студенты могут пройти курсы GCSE, A-level, University of London Inernational Foundation programme, NCUK Foundation

 

 

A-level: во время обучения студенты интенсивно готовятся к сдаче экзамена A-Level и прямому поступлению в университеты. Продолжительность программы 2 учебных года, во время которых студенты изучают 4 предмета и IELTS English (если необходимо). По окончании первого года, студент может досрочно сдать экзамен по одному предмету и продолжить подготовку к сдаче оставшихся 3-х предметов в конце второго года обучения. Также возможны варианты программы продолжительностью 18 месяцев, 1 год, 1 триместр 
Студенты на момент начала курса должны быть старше 16 лет. Для зачисления необходимо пройти интервью, которое помогает определиться с программой обучения и с предметами на выбор.

GSCE: программа обучения для студентов 14-16 лет. Обучаясь на данной программе, студенты получают отличную базу знаний для перехода на программы A-Level или IB. Стандартная продолжительность программы 1 - 2 года, но также есть вариант программы продолжительностью 18 месяцев. Студентам дается на выбор список предметов, которые им более интересны. Однако есть и обязательные предметы: математика, английский, некоторые естественные науки, искусство/музыка/драматическое искусство, второй язык, IT и гуманитарные науки.

University of London International Foundation program – программа обучения для студентов от 17 лет, которые хотят поступить в лучшие университеты Великобритании. Программа проводится на базе University of London. При завершении программы Foundation студент будет соответствовать академическому стандарту A-Level, также студент получит сертификат University of London о прохождении программы. На программе студенты будут изучать 4 предмета (в соответствии со стандартами A-Level), предмет математика и статистика является обязательным. Предметы на выбор: экономика, социология, международные отношения, политика, pure mathematics. Продолжительность программы 1 год. 

 

 


При удачном окончании программы, у студента есть возможность поступить в London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), King's College London, University ofManchester, 

 

 University of Warwick.














 



NCUK International Foundation Year – программа обучения для студентов от 17 лет, является подготовительной программой перед поступлением в университеты. При успешном завершении программы, студентам гарантировано зачисление в один из 16 университетов NCUK: University of Bradford, The University of Huddersfield, University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett University и др. Студентам дается на выбор 4 направления: естественные или гуманитарные науки, бизнес, инжиниринг. Также студенты будут изучать еще 3 предмета дополнительно. Продолжительность программы - 1 год.
